**About the Opportunity**:
Your role as a support worker will be providing support and actively engaging a supported individual to live a fulfilling and increasingly independent life. You are a motivated and outgoing person with a passion to for person-centered supports. This means you could be helping an individual to discover more of their community, learn new life-skills, find employment and more. Some of your duties can include:

- Providing individuals support with various life goals
- Home support duties (including, but not limited to personal care, bathing, bathroom support, meal preparation and light housekeeping)
- Community outings (including, but not limited to volunteering, paid employment and leisure activities)
- Maintaining records of daily activities and goal progression

**Available Positions**:
**Position #1: Permanent Part-Time (REC-411) Mission**- Monday 1130am to 430pm- Wednesday 9am to 2pm- Friday 9am to 2pm

**Position #2: Permanent Part-Time (REC-412) Abbotsford**- Monday 9am to 1130am- Thursday 9am to 1130am

**Position #3: Permanent Part-Time (REC-413) Abbotsford**
- Thursday 1130am to 230pm

**Position #4: Permanent Part-Time (REC-414) Chilliwack**
- Wednesday 2pm to 530pm
- Friday 2pm to 530pm

**Position #5: Permanent Part-Time (REC-415) Abbotsford**
- Tuesday 12pm to 230pm
- Thursday 12pm to 230pm

**About You**:
You are interested in supporting others and show an understanding of the person-centered and active support approach. Additionally, you have the following requirements:
**_Required:_**:

- **Class 5 driver’s license (permanent staff must be willing to obtain a Class 4 license)**:

- Access to a reliable vehicle
- First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Clear criminal record (paid by CLS)
- Clean driver’s abstract

**_Assets:_**:

- Ability to maneuver a wheel chair
- Experience high behavioral support
- Prior paid or volunteer experience
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training
- Mandt System®
- Knowledge of Person Centered Active Supports
