**Job description**

**QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS**:

- Be in attendance and available in the Stores area during the prescribed hours.
- Gather and document information that must be relayed to all other associates regarding status of orders, pricing and delivery schedules.
- Issue consumables as required during the shift.
- Maintain the required inventory levels of all items in Central Stores through the requisition procedure.
- Follow up on orders and their due dates to ensure timely deliveries.
- Process requisitions and purchase orders as required by the company and related standards and procedures.
- Receive all incoming packages and accurately match the items with the corresponding packing slips, requisitions, and purchase orders.
- Enter orders and receipts into the SAP. Ensure timely and accurate data entry.
- Maintain inventory listings with current information for sourcing and pricing in maintenance and stores computer system(s).
- Send out any parts needing repair or recycling and ensure return/replacement.
- Complete daily housekeeping and maintenance of Stores area. Area must be visibly neat and orderly.
- Maintain receipt records for MRO/Stores and production receiving.
- Perform stock cycle counts and physical inventory counts.
- Travel & transport of product between plants as required.
- Perform other duties as required from time to time by your Manager/Supervisor.

**EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Minimum Grade 12 education.
- Enrollment or completion of PMAC Principles of Procurement or APICS Basics of Supply Chain Management courses.
- Knowledge of welding and consumables.
- Willingness to learn, upgrade skills and advance.
- Forklift license an asset

**QUALITY & CUSTOMER SATISFACTION**:

- Responsible to adhere to all IATF 16946 / Quality policies and procedures
- Understand that Quality is EVERYONES responsibility
- Prevent quality issues from happening either by not starting the process or by stopping it before a nonconformity has occurred.
- Escalate Quality Issues immediately to my Supervisor or Manager - STOP, CONTAIN & REPORT
- Attend all Quality training deemed required by Sodecia

**SAFETY AND HOUSEKEEPING**:

- Responsible to adhere to all Health and Safety programs in accordance with the OHSA.
- Follow and ensure the Company’s procedures regarding safety rules and regulations are followed throughout the plant.
- Ensure that you work and operate equipment according to the safety rules and regulations.
- Ensure that your Department is clean, tidy, organized and a safe workplace at all times.
- Responsible to adhere to all Environmental Program ISO 14001 elements and attend training for same. Act in accordance to all Environmental policies, procedures and regulations.
