The Chignecto Central Regional Centre for Education is located in beautiful Central & Northern Nova Scotia, Canada. The Centre serves approximately 19,000 children from Pre-Primary to Grade Twelve with over 70 facilities. This is an opportunity to professionally grow with an exciting and vibrant organization where collaboration is valued.

Applications are currently being accepted for a Transportation Router based in Truro. The Transportation Router will be responsible for overseeing all applicable school bus routes within their assigned area of responsibility, while noting that travel to other parts of the Region may be required. This includes planning and creating bus routes and confirming with schools. Working collaboratively as a member of the Transportation team, the Router reports to the Transportation Coordinator (or designate).

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Degree in Logistics or related field or equivalent through training and experience
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a dispatch or routing role preferred, or equivalent experience in a role providing operational support with a client focus
- Valid Nova Scotia Driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle to travel to schools
- Previous experience using BusPlanner Suite (Georef Technologies) is considered an asset
