Since 1997, the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) has delivered public safety services on behalf of the government of Ontario. We are currently looking for **Inspector, Boiler, and Pressure Vessel Program in London and surrounding areas.**

Inspector employees are represented by the Ontario Public Service Employee Union - OPSEU/SEFPO, Local 546.

**Responsibilities**:

- Promote public safety through the periodic/in-service inspection and certification of boilers, pressure vessels and pressure piping
- Perform both conventional and nuclear shop inspections for the manufacturing of boilers and pressure vessels
- Develop progressive relationships with your internal and external customers to promote safety-oriented results

**Job Requirements**:

- Qualified to write the Ontario Certificate of Competency and will be able to obtain the National Board Commission and ‘A’ and ‘N’ Endorsements
- Five years’ experience in the BPV industry is coupled with a comprehensive understanding of related CSA and ASME BPV codes, the Technical Standards and Safety Act, and BPV Regulations
- As this position requires daily travel, a valid Ontario driver’s license is required.
- Salary to be discussed pursuant to education, work experience and licensing.
