We are continuously innovating and creating immersive and engaging experiences where young people can learn digital skills such as coding, algorithm and data literacy, and artificial intelligence to have a social impact. We are currently looking to hire a Community Programs Owner to join our team to help support an agile team environment that thrives for continuous innovation and growth.

Digital Moment's Community Programs focuses on community centers and clubs, community spaces, with community groups, including libraries, youth groups, and that specifically address underrepresented and underserved youth. Activities are delivered through a variety of methods, including lunchtime and after-school programs, weekend activities, seasonal programming, including summer camps and Spring break. With a commitment to offering free services to youth and their families, program revenue generation is through grants, sponsorships and paid services to organizations, and it can include in-person, online, and hybrid. Community programming compliments Digital Moment's work with education systems, which includes in-classroom workshops and teacher training, to provide youth with a holistic, well-rounded digital education. Strong alignment with Digital Moment's strategic initiatives will be paramount in order to cultivate a cohesive brand experience for program delivery.

Nous développons constamment des programmes et initiatives innovantes afin de répondre à notre mission et aux besoins des jeunes. Nous cherchons à combler un poste de gestionnaire de programmes communautaires.

Les programmes communautaires de Digital Moment se focalisent sur les centres communautaires et les clubs, les espaces communautaires, avec les groupes communautaires, incluant les bibliothèques, les centres de jeunes, avec un accent plus particulier sur les jeunes de milieux sous-représentés et moins desservis. Les activités sont facilitées de différentes façons incluant à travers des programmes parascolaires à l'heure du dîner et après l'école, des activités de fin de semaine, des programmes saisonniers incluant les camps de jours et la semaine de relâche.

Notre engagement d'offrir des services gratuits aux jeunes et à leur famille, la génération de revenus pour les programmes proviennent de subventions, de parrainage et de services payant aux organisations. Ceux-ci peuvent être en personne, en ligne ou hybrides.

Les programmes communautaires viennent complémenter le travail de Digital Moment avec les systèmes de l'éducation qui incluent des ateliers en classe et la formation des professeurs afin d'offrir aux jeunes une éducation digitale complète.

Un alignement fort avec les initiatives stratégiques de Digital Moment est crucial afin de cultiver une expérience de marque cohérente des programmes.

**Requirements**:
WHAT YOU'LL DO (Responsibilities include, but are not limited to):

- Develop and oversee a Community Programs strategy which ensures alignment with Digital Moment's long-term objectives in order to build engagement with underrepresented and underserved communities in Canada.
- Working with Community Programs Coordinator and the Senior Programs Coordinator, roll-out the strategy, including a national engagement plan, that includes national and regional organizations, and all having a commitment to reach our underserved and underrepresented communities.
- Responsible for meeting deliverables and providing impact results which satisfy funder requirements
- Work closely with Fund Development team to ensure funder relationships are exceptional and deliverables tell impactful stories
- Work closely with Marketing and Communications team to ensure targeted outreach and promotion are strong and delivering expected results
- Oversee the Code Club program, which includes website, content materials, and relations with the international Code Club organization (part of Raspberry Pi Foundation)
- Work closely with Volunteer Coordinator to develop volunteer training materials and build a strong and sustainable volunteer base which supports community programming
- Work closely with other Program Owners to strengthen synergies between programming, and ultimately enrich the impact on youth's digital educat
