CNC Machinist / Welding Operator
- Orangeville, ON If you are a highly skilled, motivated machinist looking for a stable job, where you will be challenged, where your skills, work ethic, innovation and creativity will shine, this is the workplace for you Shifts - Permanent, Full Time Position - Monday to Friday - 8.5-hour shifts - Days/Afternoons, rotating every 2 weeks Salary information: $19.14-$24.82 per hour (Salary is commensurate with experience) plus productivity based monthly bonuses, attendance draws, safety draws Benefits We offer a competitive salary and an excellent benefits program including Company paid benefit plan and a Group RRSP Pension Plan with matching contributions Job Duties & Responsibilities - Set up and operate a router operation (to make large, welded liners for the transportation industry) - Ability to use CNC equipment to cut, trim, slot, chamber, profile, shape material - The operator will pull up programs, make minor adjustments to programs, install machine accessories like pins, cutting tools, templates, spoil boards - Proven ability to follow standards, rules, policies, work instructions and directions - Ability to operate handheld tools & measuring equipment - Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure and deadline - Ability to work cohesively in a team-based environment Qualifications - Strong mechanical skills - Good visual/color vision and eye/hand coordination - Strong attention to detail - Excellent time management skills and organizational skills - Above average attendance - Previous experience operating CNC equipment, able to read blueprints/diagrams - Excellent computer and math skills - Good communication and interpersonal skills - Able to safely operator forklift
