**Role Title**:Project Coordinator

**Reports to**: VDFP Directors and Program Managers

**The Organization**

**Job Summary**

At the direction of Directors and Managers, and working with other team members, the Project Coordinator supports the design, implementation and evaluation of Division projects and programs. The Project Coordinator supports the development of collaborative relationships between team members, family physicians, and community and health authority stakeholders. The Project Coordinator assists with administering member services such as new member welcoming; service delivery related to mentorship, wellness, and emergency management; maintains connections with stakeholders; and other and ad hoc project support as needed.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Meet regularly with the project team(s) to provide support, monitor progress and participate in project activities
- Contribute to Quality Improvement design and project plans
- Manage data collection and tracking, maintain relevant databases, and analysis and reporting, including preparing proposals, reports and presentation materials, as relevant to project work
- Coordinate aspects of project evaluation as required including communicating results through preparing reports, web postings, and direct messages to members
- Maintains the organization’s state of knowledge on key provincial initiatives that may affect members
- Provide routine outreach/check-ins (e.g., welcome calls to new members, monitoring with pilot participants, etc.) and refer concerns, questions, and opportunities to project planning team
- Prepare a monthly progress report on all project activities for supervisor(s)
- Attend regular meetings as needed (e.g., steering committee meetings, working group meetings, staff meetings, member engagement events, etc.) and support meeting facilitation/administration as needed
- Assist in orienting new staff or committee members to relevant initiatives and to the work environment
- Provide cross-coverage for other Coordinator staff
- Other duties as required

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, healthcare, or business administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum three years recent related experience, preferably in the non-profit or healthcare sector
- Knowledge of the BC healthcare system and experience working in a primary healthcare setting or experience working with physicians and/or allied health care providers an asset
- Collaborative team leadership style with exceptional interpersonal communication, relationship building and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet quick deadlines with quality output
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Able to work independently and as a member of the team
- Excellent computer skills, particularly in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

**Conditions of Employment**
- Full time (37.5 hours per week) - hours determined collaboratively with supervisor
- Work is primarily from a remote, secure worksite, with occasional in-person meetings at various locations around greater Victoria
- Attendance at evening meetings is required
- A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is preferred
