Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and friendly Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring accurate and efficient transactions at the point of sale. This is a vital role within our organization, as you will be the first point of contact for our customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate the cash register and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with precision
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, resolving issues, and assisting with product selection
- Upsell products or services to increase sales revenue
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, discounts, and company policies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction

**Skills**:

- Proficient in operating Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience in technical sales or technology sales is a plus
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English
- Basic math skills for calculating totals, providing change, and processing discounts
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Ability to upsell products or services to enhance the customer experience

Pay: $16.75-$17.40 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week

Day range:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Shift:

- 8 hour shift

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Serving It Right (preferred)

Work Location: In person
