**Roadshow Driver**

The Roadshow Driver is responsible for driving the trailer to various locations in Canada and the US to meet with customers and attend various events.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- **Driving**:

- Drive our trailer to various locations in Canada and the US to meet customers and attend various events.
- May require you to maneuver in tight quarters to place trailer where it is desired.
- **Logbook**:

- Plan daily hours as per driving CAD/US rules.
- Use Titan GPS Electronic Logbook.
- **Route planning**:

- Keeping construction, weather, timing of appointments and other travel accommodations in mind.
- Keeping required maintenance in mind while on the road.
- Ensuring there are hotels available along your route for nightly stops/stays.
- **Daily Pre-trip Inspection Reports.**
- **Research hotel parking space for truck and trailer.**
- **Perform DOT inspection when pulled in to weigh stations or scales.**
- **Advise Condair in the event of any accidents or incidents.**
- **Maintenance and Repairs (all maintenance and repairs are to be done at a license repair shop). Ensure that the truck and trailer are maintained, safe, and look professional. All required repairs and maintenance to be discussed with the Marketing Manager and executed by the Roadshow Driver. Maintenance includes but is not limited to**:

- Record keeping log of all service work.
- Ensure both truck and trailer have current safeties completed.
- Truck and trailer generator oil change.
- Truck and trailer fuel filter replacement.
- Grease trailer hubs/bearings.
- Inspect & service truck and trailer brakes.
- Detailed washing and waxing of truck before most events (weather dependent).
- Detailed cleaning of interior of trailer for every day.
- Wash or get trailer washed at a truck wash facility.
- Keep an inventory of critical spare parts for truck and trailer.
- Bring truck and generator for recalls and major dealer service when required.
- Assist with updates to interior trailer display as required with Marketing team and external contractors.
- Winterize HP/ML skid when temperature reaches below freezing
- **Administrative Duties**:

- Coordinating Roadshow bookings with the sales team and agent contact.
- Update Marketing calendar with all booking details.
- Communicate with Marketing contact about all bookings.
- Create documents on how to do this process.
- Fill out paperwork
- Wait for receipt of e-manifest
- Proofread authorized entry number and PARS for errors
- Order PARS stickers when needed
- Keeping/verifying all permits, licenses and insurances are valid and renewed:

- Create record of all documents and process on how to update things.
- Truck license plate sticker
- CVOR Certificate
- DOT number
- Truck Insurance
- Submit expense reports in the required time frame.
- Store and record all expense receipts.
- Keep accurate records of visits, stops, and visitors.
- Keep track of promo item inventory and place orders when required.
- Keep track of literature inventory and place orders when required.
- Communicate with Condair’s Marketing department on a regular basis with feedback on the trailer and events.
- Other duties as assigned by Management.
- **Events**:

- Ensure interior and exterior of truck and trailer are clean and presentable.
- Be dressed in Condair branded shirt and or jacket.
- Setup, prepare and organize the trailer prior to each visit. (Awning, Steps, Tables, Displays, Banners, Promo Items Snacks etc).
- Keep water bottles stocked in cooler (ice in cooler).
- Tear down and clean up after each visit.
- Greet visitors as required.
- Assist sales team with events as required.
- **Adhere to the company’s Quality Assurance System**
- **Other duties as assigned by management**

**Requirements include**:

- 2 years truck driving experience
- AZ/DZ license an asset
- Proof of ability to work in Canada and ability to travel abroad (U.S)
- 2 years office administration experience would be an asset
- High school diploma
- Valid Drivers License
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, spoken). Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction and procedure manuals.
