Bricklayer

High Sierra Holdings Ltd. is looking to hire experienced individuals to hold the position of Bricklayer.

Work location: Calgary, Alberta and area / Business location: T3R 1G7

Permanent, full-time position. $38.50 per hour. 40 hours per week

Language: English. Spanish is an asset.

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required

Experience: 3 to 5 years

**Tasks**:

- Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles or other masonry units
- Estimate materials, labour, tools and equipment
- Lay bricks, stone or similar materials to provide veneer facing
- Construct and install prefabricated masonry units
- Build patios, garden walls and other decorative installations
- Work at heights on scaffolding
- Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools
- Lay bricks or other masonry units to build residential or commercial chimneys and fireplaces
- Restore, clean or paint existing masonry structures

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: physically demanding, handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling.

Work Setting: Residential and commercial construction
