Primary Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility for the position is to assist the Customer Development Management team and will be exposed to all aspects of the business including Sales, Account Management and Brand Development. The position will support the National Customer Development Team in both Warehouse and DSD business. This entry level position will be actively involved in building positive retailer and vendor relationships and will actively participate in Customer Development Team process improvement initiatives. Essential Functions:

- Support and participate in food safety programs including SQF (Safe Quality Food).
- Manage internal promotional tracking portal including attachment of all financial and inventory requirements.
- Manage all Account Specific portals with a particular focus on Retail Link for Walmart.
- Work with Retail Development Team to ensure all Territory Associates are informed of all store level initiatives.
- Prepare and/or assist in preparation of Sales Presentations and Sell Sheets for Team Lead.
- Maintain all internal documents and file folders.
- Assist in promotional analysis, ROI calculations and forecasting.
- Organize all required samples.
- Support Team lead in presentations to customers.
- Back up support of daily Purchase Orders when Supply Chain Coordinator as required.
- Maintain safe work practices and safeguards all confidential company information.
- A desire to advance your career within sales.
- Aid with product launches at new and growing accounts.

Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude:

- University degree in business, marketing, or equivalent and 1 year of working experience in a CPG environment is preferred.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and comprehend English.
- Must be proficient in MS Office - Word, Excel and Power Point; focus on intermediate Excel skills.
- High energy level, comfortable and ability to establish creditability and be decisive but be able to recognize and support the organization’s preferences and priorities.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills. Must be tactful, mature and flexible with good reasoning abilities and sound judgment.
- Excellent planning skills, with attention to detail so that workflow is managed efficiently and able to work independently of direct supervision.
- Emphasis placed on organization skills and ability to distil large amounts of information.
