**Position - Site Supervisor**

We are currently seeking a Site Supervisor. The Site Supervisor oversees and manages all on-site construction activities, ensures client projects are executed safely and that they meet project quality, schedule and financial goals. This role pro-actively manages projects from start up through to completion in the highest quality manner, while keeping in constant communication with all parties involved throughout the duration of the project.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Develops a detailed action plan and schedule to execute the project on time and on budget and mobilizes labour, equipment and material resources
- Maximizes site productivity by managing and coordinating the work performance, quality and efficiency of labourers and subcontractors
- Working with the Project Managers, reviews project plans and specifications and helps to identify overall design intent, scheduling, possible cost saving measures and potential issues
- Interprets plans and specifications, ensuring compliance with working drawings and specs
- Manages subcontractor activities ensuring adherence to project construction schedule and budget
- Liaises effectively and maintains regular communication with all involved on the project
- the Project Managers, Landlords, Clients, Consultants, Architects, Engineers and Designers
- Creates a safe work environment by implementing strict Health & Safety guidelines and ensuring compliance with all related legislation and safe practices
- Coordinates projects with municipalities, environmental protection agencies, etc. to ensure continuous operation of services
- Exercises legal due diligence, including maintenance of a daily job history log, inspecting workmanship to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and identifying resources required to mitigate potential risks and hazards
- Oversees project close out activities, including permits and quick resolution of deficiencies and site cleanup

**Requirements and Qualifications**
- Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications
- Understanding of applicable federal, provincial and city health and safety and construction-related legislation
- Strong leadership skills to effectively hold others accountable for achieving project goals
- Flexible; ambitious self-starter; solid team player with a positive attitude who fosters teamwork and cooperation with a strong ability to lead a highly functional team
- Relationship savvy and high level of interpersonal skills
- Exceptional time management to prioritize activities and allocate resources effectively
- Commitment to recognizing and mitigating risks; strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills; high degree of integrity, honesty and ethics
- Minimum High School Education and 2-3 similar experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $85,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
