An exciting Temporary Full-Time (approximately 15 months) opportunity as a **Business Partner** exists in the Finance department, reporting to the **Director of Finance, Strategic Sourcing and Procurement**. This position will be part of the SAP Modernization project team, as part of the internal resources assigned supporting the upgrade to S4/HANA. This role will primarily lead and oversee requisitioning / purchasing stream and support other aspects of the project as needed.

Summary of Duties, but not limited to:

- Leads the requisitioning / purchasing project stream, coordinating resources including business users/testers, along with coordinating plans with other streams (i.e. Finance, IT, Comms).
- Responsible to provide input, solicit stakeholder discussions as part of the solution design, a long with participating in validation of design decisions.
- Resoponsible for the documentation and validation of business process changes including impact to hospital (i.e. consider impacts to processes, policy, business activities).
- Review the test and deployment strategy, a long with providing input into security strategy for end users.
- Accountable to review and approve data strategy and data cleansing activities.
- Accountable for developing hospital specific training and change management strategy.
- Participates in testing phase, responsible for preparation of test scripts, clean and prep data for testing, log defects.
- Identify and communication business process change impacts.
- Participates in deployment and run project phase, responsible to review, gather, validate data for go-live, issue tracking and resolution, test bug fixes, assist hospital users in sustained operations.
- Escalate any issues or risk throughout all project phases.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management or related field required.
- Master’s degree in business administration or information systems or a related technical master’s degree is highly desirable.
- Three (3) to five (5) years related financial work experience.
- Previous experience with SAP systems and implementation is highly desirable, including knowledge of business rules and workflow rules for the purchase requisitions, purchase order and approval hierarchies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to optimize business processes.
- Strong data management skills, knowledge of tools and techniques for data management, experience in cleansing and preparing master data.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, coupled with excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both in a team environment and independently.
- Good work and attendance record required.
- Ability to take initiative and embrace challenges.
- Professional behavior and communication that meets the standards of the professional regulatory college or association, as applicable, and the standards of Women’s College Hospital.
