- **London Festival**:July 18 - 21, 2024. July 18 will be a partial day dedicated to virtual and on-site training at Harris Park. July 19, 20, and 21 are full event days.

**Compensation**:A flat rate of **$1,000 **for the Great Outdoors Comedy Festival event weekend

As the **Merchandise Tent Manager **, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our merchandise sales during the Great Outdoors Comedy Festival

This role is responsible for overseeing the merchandising staff, setup of the merchandise tent, managing sales, and maintaining inventory levels throughout the event weekend. This role requires excellent organizational skills, customer service prowess, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Provide training and supervision to merchandise tent staff during the event;
- Work with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely pick up and delivery of merchandise;
- Ensure accurate tracking of all merchandise inventory before, during, and after the event;
- Setting up and tearing down the merchandise tent, including inventory and payment terminals;
- Selling merchandise, processing cash or card payments through the point-of-sale POS system, Square;
- Control lines of guests efficiently by properly staffing payment terminals;
- Oversee the breakdown of the merchandise tent, reconcile inventory, and prepare a sales and inventory report each day;
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive festival experience;
- Other duties, as required.

**Qualifications**:

- 1+ years of experience in either a retail or event management environment is preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry merchandise and display equipment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills are a must
- Proficiency with POS systems and inventory management.
- Must have access to your own method of reliable transportation to and from the Festival site.
