**Modular Home Building Code Specialist**

We are seeking a qualified Modular Home Building Code Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and approving building drawing sets for compliance with the National Building Code of Canada (NBC) and relevant provincial/territorial building codes, including the Ontario Building Code (OBC) especially pertaining to modular homes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Review and analyze modular building drawings for compliance with the NBC, OBC, and other relevant building standards and codes.
- Identify and communicate any discrepancies or non-compliances to the design team.
- Provide technical advice and guidance on building code requirements.
- Be up-to-date on changes to building codes and standards.
- Maintain accurate records of reviewed and approved drawings.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in building code compliance or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of the National Building Code of Canada (NBC) and the Ontario Building Code (OBC) especially pertain to modular homes.
- Strong understanding of building construction principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in relevant building code software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).

**Experience**:

- Experience in reviewing building drawings for residential, commercial, or industrial projects is preferred.
- Experience working with municipalities and other regulatory agencies is a plus.

Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
