**Position Information**:
**Temporary until approximately May 26, 2024.**

**Rotation/Shifts**:

- Days and evenings, including weekends, 8 hour shifts (10:30-18:30, 15:00-23:00).- For information purposes only - The Hospital reserves the right to change.

**Basic Requirements**:
- High school diploma;
- Community college Health Care Assistant certification or equivalent;
- Six (6) months recent experience in the delivery of direct patient care (i.e. Nursing Aide, Orderly, PCA, Nursing Assistant and Registered Practical Nurse);
- Knowledge of universal blood and body fluid precautions;
- Knowledge of proper lifting techniques;
- Demonstrates a respectful attitude to patients, the public and colleagues;
- Demonstrates ability to work effectively without constant supervision;
- Demonstrates ability to co-operate with others in a high stress, busy workplace.
