Volleyball Coach

**Volleyball/Multi-Sport Coach Position Available**

**July 1st, 2023 to August 31, 2023**

**At BGC London, we believe that every child and youth deserve to have access to quality sports programming. Our Next Level Sports (NLS) program has been developed to make sports accessible to fill the ever-widening gap between high-level sports programs and general recreational opportunities. It is our goal to provide young people in our community with the opportunity to level up their skills in order to access the opportunities that will inspire them to stay physically active and engaged in sports.**

**We are currently looking to hire a Coach who is inspired by our vision for making sports accessible, and who is skilled at supporting sports specific skill development. NLS Coaches understand how to engage and motivate young athletes, and who are excited to mentor young people and support them to reach their goals in sport.**

**Volleyball/Multi -Sport Coach: 1 position**

**Availability: Afternoon and evenings, as well as weekends as required.**

**Ability to travel to rural communities on the outskirts of London which includes Lucan, Thorndale, Ilderton and Komoka.**
- **Work alongside the Lead Coach to develop program plans and support weekly instruction.**:

- **Facilitate practices and small group training**:

- **Help run and organize a final tournament**
- **Current First Aid & C.P.R. certification required**:

- **Vulnerable Sector Police Clearance issued by local police station required**:

- **Experience working with Children and youth ages 10 to 18**:

- **Experience managing a sport program**:

- **Confident in troubleshooting issues independently and as a team**:

- **Experience developing and facilitating sport specific & general programming**:

- **Proof of Full Vaccination for COVID-19 is required**:
