**Agronomy Assistant**

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Scouting fields and identification of weeds, insects, and disease
- Assisting in bulk seed treating
- Delivery of seed and chemical to growers
- Shipping and receiving of seed and chemical
- Soil sampling
- Assisting in management of test plots throughout the year
- Mixing and support for aircrafts and ground sprayers

**Qualifications**
- This role is ideal for a student enrolled in a post-secondary agronomy (or similar) program
- Hard working and willing to work in a team setting
- Flexible to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Willing to work in various settings (ie: in field and office)
- Valid class 5 drivers license

**Salary**: $16.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
