**Responsibilities**:
The person will be responsible for working around heavy construction equipment and must have a positive and Safety conscious attitude.

**Requirements**:

- Must be hardworking and able to meet the physical demands of the job which may include standing, bending, crouching and walking on uneven surfaces for extended periods
- experience in sewer and water an asset
- Previous experience required, related to industry preferred.
- Safety certifications preferred (e.g. First Aid/CPR, C.S.T.S, H2S Alive, Fall Protection, Confined Space and Ground Disturbance).
- Follow company operating safety policies and procedures.
- 1 year of construction experience, experience in a labour-intensive position and working outside in all types of weather conditions.
- Willingness to learn and the ability to work within a cohesive team/unit
- Will be part of a team that will be required to move from job site to job site on an as needed basis.
- Capable of working variable shifts with extended hours.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 8 months

Pay: $21.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kenora, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- construction: 1 year (preferred)
