Optometric Assistant

Dr. Dors, Dr. Traynor & Associates is looking to hire a full-time Optometric Assistant for our Thornbury location. We are a fast paced, well established, full-service eye care clinic that offers a full scope of optometric services to an ever growing population of patients. Our office is open Monday through Friday, with no weekend hours. We are in search of a friendly and enthusiastic new team member who is passionate about helping others.

**Main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to**:

- greeting patients and providing exceptional customer service
- general administrative duties
- screening tests prior to the patient seeing the doctor
- minor frame repairs and adjustments
- warm, caring, friendly personality
- positive team player
- committed to excellent customer service
- strong communicator
- self-motivated and organized with an ability to multi-task efficiently and accurately
- previous optical experience is an asset but not required as we are able to train someone with the right personality and work ethic

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
