We are currently recruiting for a **full-time Project Manager Assistant** in our Insurance Restoration Division. This position will be based out of the Bolton office and requires regular travel throughout the GTA.

**The role is an exciting entry-level opportunity and suitable for new graduates with a diploma/ degree in Project Management, Architectural Technology, Building Construction Technician, Construction Management, Restoration Technician.**

**THE POSITION**
- Assist the Insurance Restoration team in job start up (i.e, notice of project, insurance, bonding)
- Maintain and organize all insurance project documentation (i.e, document logs, reports and specifications)
- Track requests for additional estimates or credit estimates
- Assist in communication flow between Estimating, Coordinating and Insurance staf
- Regularly update and maintain trade lists
- Aid in the creation of project budgets, material selection/ delivery
- Collaborate with the Project Manager in writing job scopes and issuing purchase orders
- Assist in dealing with site issues if/when they arise
- Use required software to input project scopes in to estimates
- Promote safety procedures on site by creating and maintaining site safety boards
- Potential to run small projects independently
- Other duties as requested from the Project Manager

**THE REQUIREMENTS**
- Strong construction knowledge - a post secondary diploma in a construction related program is highly desirable
- Experience working in or with the trades considered an asset
- Access to own vehicle and a good driving record is required
- Strong work ethic with an attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Able to work effectively and accurately in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as a team
- Knowledge of Xactimate is an asset
