Mover/driver

D.P. Sure Service Movers provides convenient service for our customers moving in and out various area. We are looking for motivated, reliable and team-oriented individuals to join our growing team as a moving associate.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assists the Moving Supervisor in maintaining the trucks in a clean and orderly fashion, fully stocked with equipment and moving supplies, prepped and ready for the next job at all times.
- Loads and unloads quickly and efficiently and with the highest level of regard for our customer’s property, ensuring that all loads are properly secured.
- Communicates with the Moving Supervisor in a timely fashion regarding any customer issues, damages or accidents.
- Performs miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the Moving Supervisor between scheduled moves.

**You will Bring**:

- Excellent communication & communication skills
- Knowledge of best practices for the safe handling of customer’s personal possessions, commercial goods while loading a truck.
- Two years moving experience (preferred)
- Two years driving commercial vehicles
- High School Diploma (preferred)

**Physical Demands**:
Moving is a strenuous and physically demanding position**. **Movers must be capable of bending and lifting heavy furniture and appliances.

**Experience**:

- Moving: 1 year (preferred)
- Delivery driver: 1 year (preferred)
- Loading & unloading: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- G Drivers License (required)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Thornhill, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
