Plan age appropriate childcare/youth activities. Participate in activities where appropriate.
- Takes initiative to introduce new programming ideas to the staff.
- Facilitate small group activities
- Recognizes differing cultures and provide an atmosphere of acceptance.
- Teach problem solving and conflict resolution in a manner that is age appropriate
- Intervene in situations of altercations and set limits for appropriate behavior.
- Uses listening and conflict resolution skills for positive guidance.
- Maintains and completes all cleaning and closing checklists.
- Assists in the completion of the set up requirements (both administrative and housekeeping) before the first children arrive.
- Adhere to the Standards of Operations (including all those for COVID-19) as laid out in the Provincial guidelines and Quality Improvement Assessment.
- MUST BE ATTENDING POST SECONDARY STUDIES THIS FALL.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 weeks

Pay: From $18.90 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
