**Prairie Earthworks Ltd. is a family run construction business and has been in operation since 2009. We are looking to expand our company and are seeking a reliable, skilled heavy equipment operator for the upcoming construction season.**

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:

- **Primary Excavator and Dozer operator**
- **Demonstrate leadership on jobsites overseeing completion of projects from start to finish under the direction of the Supervisor.**
- **Perform high quality work according to specifications.**
- **Assist with deliveries of topsoil and gravel products.**
- **Provide support with the operation of our busy topsoil screening plant.**
- **Assist with the maintenance of all equipment.**
- **Duration from April - December**

**THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS**:

- **Minimum 1 year experience in operating excavators, dozers, loaders, and rock trucks**
- **Positive attitude and willingness to learn.**
- **Excellent communication and time management skills**
- **Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment as well as with mínimal supervision.**
- **Valid Manitoba Class 1 driver’s license would be an asset.**
- **Basic mechanical skills for service and maintenance would be an asset.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 8 months

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
