Wawanesa team is growing at a fast pace and we are looking for multiple Auto Claims Adjusters. If you are selected, we will provide you with the necessary training to obtain your adjuster's license issued by the Autorité des marchés financiers.

You can live anywhere in Quebec since this full-time position allows you to perform your work duties from the office, remotely or a hybrid of both. You get to choose the option that best suits your needs

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide exceptional customer service
- Interpret policy wordings, determine policy coverage and ensure appropriate reserving
- Investigate losses to determine liability
- Evaluate relevant information from sources such as appraisers, third party adjusters, contractors and repair facilities in order to quantify losses
- Negotiate with insureds, claimants, lawyers and insurers
- Coordinate services with vendors and service providers
- Adjust claims from inception to completion in a proactive manner
- Maintain accurate records based on company standards and policies within the claims system
- Remain up-to-date with legislative changes and trends in the insurance industry
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in insurance adjusting (asset)
- Fully proficient in French and English
- Possess a Claims Adjuster Permit through the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) or obtain the permit withing 6 months of being hired
- Possess a Commercial Permit through the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) is an asset
- Working toward Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation
- Effective customer service skills including empathy and concern for our customers
- Strong investigative and analytical skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work in a fast paced, changing environment
- Detail oriented with a critical degree of accuracy regarding data entry
- Strong negotiation skills
