**REPORTS TO**:
***Parks and Facilities Supervisor

**Responsibilities/Duties**:

- General maintenance and care in County arenas, parks, cemeteries, sports fields and splash pads.
- Cutting of grass and weed eating.
- Minor landscaping.
- Maintaining flower beds and planters.
- Planting, watering, and weeding.

**Knowledge/Skills Required**:

- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to work afternoon and weekend shifts on a rotating basis.
- Knowledge of tools and equipment.
- Valid Driver's license (G or G2).
- Physical ability to carry out essential job duties.
- Standard First Aid/CPR C/AED training.
- The successful applicant must submit a current driver's abstract and current Criminal Records Police Check satisfactory to the County prior to start date.

**Duration**:April - September

**Hours per week**: 40

**Wage**:$18.33 (2023)

**You must be enrolled in a post-secondary Institution and returning to school in the fall in order to qualify for these positions.**
