Department Overview

It is our people that make the difference in the dynamic Canadian Fraud Management team within the Protect Platform. Reporting to the Vice President, Canadian Fraud Management, the AVP, Canadian Fraud Partner Integration leads a diverse team of knowledge and personable professionals (possessing communication skills to distill complex items, high P&L / product business acumen and soft skills to nurture relationship) who partner with product and distribution leaders to advise, influence and drive both fraud strategy, product design and controls. This role leads all business sponsored changes for Fraud from intake and assessment to oversight and support of delivery and execution. In addition, the role leads the fraud interaction model with product (business and Journeys) and distribution channel partners, working collaboratively key stakeholders across Fraud (Operations, Performance Management, Fraud Threat Management & CIAM) and associated partners like Risk, Finance, Legal etc. while ensuring the fraud coverage and interaction model continually evolves to meet the needs of partners and proactively protects our customers and shareholders.

The
Partner Relationship Management & Fraud Strategy:

- Develops and maintains relationships with key LOB partners at the SVP level, VP and AVP level to ensure fraud risks are understood and appropriately managed, with trust and transparency being paramount
- Advises and influences partners on all matters in lock step with the broader Fraud team on the establishment of key priorities, fraud performance metrics and associated customer experience targets
- Works with Product, Journeys, Channels, Control Partner leads and Fraud internal stakeholders to continue to enhance interaction models and establish proper targets and metrics to manage fraud risk
- Serves as the conduit to communicate and align on fraud initiatives and strategies with partners, partners to influence and align with customer journeys and the associated priorities for Fraud pulling in Fraud specialists across the team as relevant
- Drives strategic discussions including initiatives for potential investment with product and distribution channel partners, including the support of industry advancements
- Take ownership in engaging stakeholders and partners when managing new and emerging fraud threats and incidents with associated actions to mitigate fraud
- Leads fraud partner integration team members to provide expanded fraud oversight and operational support across areas of the Canadian footprint, including assessing opportunities to further support LOB’s who manage their own first line fraud detection (i.e. TD Wealth and TD Insurance)
- Partners with US Fraud Partner Integration and associated stakeholders to deliver a consistent, best in class approach to partner integration providing a holistic view of fraud coverage, trends and emerging risks

Partner Change & Delivery:

- Collaborates to support both new and existing products as well as strategic initiatives; critical to success is being integrated at the ideation stage to ensure initiatives are set up for success early in the design / concept stage by providing thought leadership to balance risk, customer experience and P&L growth
- Partners to lead fraud for key organizational initiatives such as New Business Product Assessments (NBPA’s) and M&A related activity
- Liaising with Fraud Risk Management (FRM) and other relevant control partners on Business Sponsored changes and associated Fraud Risk Assessments

Fraud Business Insights, Reporting, Consolidation & Analysis:

- Responsible for Canadian Fraud loss and performance reporting, maintaining and updating Fraud KPI’s and scorecards and providing business insights and analysis (i.e. industry benchmarks etc.)
- Lead the annual planning and quarterly forecasting for Canadian Fraud OPEX, FTE & Fraud Losses
- Investigate, identify and monitor opportunities for efficiency, effectiveness and productivity across the Canadian Fraud organization

Partner Integration Team:

- Sets strategic framework for partner integration, including the skills, tools and capabilities necessary to advance and support partner objectives while delivering a great partner and colleague experience
- Provides people management leadership by hiring the best talent, setting goals, developing staff, and managing the employee performance
- Establishes and manages a fraud partner integration career path within fraud mgmt

Job Requirements
- Previous fraud management/operations and/or product management experience are valued assets
