**Required Qualifications**:

- Minimum 3 years experience as a payroll clerk
- Previous HRIS and Payroll Software experience
- Accounting Software experience
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Microsoft Excel
- Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) Certification (or advanced standing in the PCP program)

**Desired Qualifications**
- Experience using Workzoom and Sage Intacct is an asset


**Payroll Clerk duties and responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the process of bi-weekly payroll, including reconciling deductions and accruals.
- Preparation of governmental payroll remittances and record of employment.
- Assist with processing pension and health benefits, reporting of leaves, retirements, and new hires.
- Strong understanding of policy and procedures and the Canada Labour Code.
- Able to create cash receipts and prepare bank deposits.
- Maintain a filing system for confidential information.
- Willing to learn other positions in the finance department.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Salary**: $28.74-$33.91 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
