Civil Pipe Foreman

_*This position is based out of South Okanagan, BC*_

**Okanagan Civil Constructors** is one of South Okanagan's newest and most highly respected civil construction companies. We are currently seeking experienced applicants for a Civil Construction Pipe Foreman with 5+ years experience.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Provide direction to the crews at the beginning of each day and keep the crews updated and on track with the daily work.
- Work with the crew, superintendent, and Project Manager to understand upcoming project requirements.
- Ensure forward planning in the ordering of materials and setting up sub-contractors for layout, delivery of supplies, density and pressure testing, proof rolls etc. with the Superintendent and Project Manager.
- Responsible for communicating job progress, information and updates.
- Ensure accurate and daily reporting of timesheets and work orders are provided to head office.
- Be a leader, assist in training and development of crews.
- Complete understanding of typical industry-standard safe working procedures, especially around trenches and heavy equipment.
- Someone who thrives being in a production-driven environment while staying friendly, professional, and a clear communicator.
- Attention to detail and the desire to provide high-quality workmanship, right the first time.
- Understanding of MMCD, Supplementary specifications,Municipal specs, and typical civil testing requirements.
- Problem solver
- 5+ years Experience with pipe laying.
- Knowledge of TOPCON GPS is an asset
- Must be local to the Kelowna or South Okanagan area
