**The Opportunity**:

**What You Will Do**:

- Responsible for installation and repair of patient lifting devices in hospitals, long term care homes and private residences.
- Discuss equipment installation with contractors and operators to determine the installation process.
- In collaboration with the sales team, prepare quotes for installation of equipment.
- Adjust, calibrate, align and modify circuitry and components to meet manufacture and construction specifications.
- Test faulty equipment to diagnose cause of malfunction.
- Replace defective components and adjust mechanical parts.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of service work performed.
- Manage company assets effectively including parts inventory, tools, test equipment and business expenditures per company policy or procedure. Ensure safe working practices are adhered to.
- Attend training classes whether held on site, in house or at any other location determined by supervisor and/or management. Actively participate in personal upgrading in the form of continuing education and training to keep pace with advancing technology.

**What You Need to Succeed**:

- Grade 12 Academic
- 2-3 years of related experience in repair of home health care products is preferred but we will train the successful applicant
- Excellent mechanical abilities
- Previous customer service and/or administrative experience would be considered an asset
- Clean Driver’s abstract is essential, strong interpersonal & communication skills
- Criminal records check will be required
- Familiarity with patient transfer systems and rehabilitation products would be considered an asset
- Must be able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
