**) Instructor** to develop and deliver courses in both the Geomatics Engineering Technology Diploma and Bachelor of Science Degree programs.-
**Duties & Responsibilities**

**RESPONSIBILITIES***:
Graduates of both the diploma and the degree programs find employment in a wide range of fields such as construction, natural resources, legal and engineering surveying in both the public and private sectors. Faculty mentor and motivate students to succeed and are key to the success of the program through excellence in instruction and close ties with the industry.**Qualifications**

**QUALIFICATIONS***:

- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Geomatics or in a relevant field or completion of CBEPS.
- Minimum five years of current and relevant industry experience. (An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.)
- Registered as a Professional Land Surveyor in good standing with a provincial or national regulator (or equivalent) would be an asset.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer in good standing would be an asset.
- Excellent technical communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to continued professional development.
- Teaching experience at the college/university level would be an asset.
- Proficiency using CAD and Engineering software (Civil 3D, Land Information Systems, MicroSurvey, StarNet & Leica software products).
- Field Survey Project Management
- Cadastral Surveying / Survey Law / Land Use Planning
- Survey Computations & Computer Programming
- Engineering Surveying
- Data Analysis & Least Squares Adjustment
- Geodesy & Map Projection Systems
- Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing, Terrestrial and Aerial Scanning Technologies

**Salary Range**
- Salary Range: $56,845 - $99,571 per annum.**Additional Salary Information**
- Salary prorated based on percentage and term of appointment. Salary based on education, experience and placement criteria as outlined in the Collective Agreement.Position Details
