**JOB** SUMMARY:* The **Construction Manager** reports to and works under the direction and supervision of the Director of Housing.
To assist the Director of Housing and the Six Nations of the Grand River in the planning, development, and management of Housing projects within the policies and procedures established by Six Nations of the Grand River and Six Nations Housing.

$65,000-$85,000

**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**:

- University degree in project management, land use planning, or real estate development and financing or a related field and 1 year of related work experience or;
- College Diploma in construction project management, construction engineering, real estate development, or related field and 5 years of related work experience
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
- Experience in creating and managing timelines, budgets, and schedules for construction projects
- Ability to manage a team of apprentice participants and sub-contractors
- Possess initiative and ability to work independently
- Exhibit good organizational skills and ability to take direction’
- Valid ‘G’ Class Drivers License and a reliable vehicle
