Overview:
**Role Purpose**

Under the direction of the Shop Manager, the position is responsible for the routing and verification of all parts, supplies, materials, equipment and stock. Maintains, updates and verifies accuracy of records and ensures processing and forwarding of merchandise.

**Responsibilities**:
**Shop **Coordinator** / Purchasing**
- Ensure the Repair Checklist is maintained and up to date with ongoing, completed and upcoming repairs to equipment
- Generate Work Order report, using GroundWorks and excel reports to ensure the corresponding numbers are correct and up to date
- Liaise with Management for purchasing related activities
- Input weekly equipment hours to monitor service intervals on internal equipment
- Complete daily time sheets for shop team
- Respond to purchasing related inquiries and resolve issues such as late shipments
- Confer and correspond with establishment representatives to expedite, trace and/or rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and non-conformance to specifications
- Requisition materials and assist in inventory control and auditing measures, as scheduled
- Deliver or route materials as required
- Represent the shop on the Health & Safety Committee
- Perform other related duties as assigned

**Suppliers**
- Build and maintain positive business relationships with suppliers and internal customers
- Identify and resolve pricing discrepancies between purchase order and invoices
- Source new products/services from suppliers

Qualifications:
**Qualifications**:
Education and Experience
- Grade 12;
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar role, preferably in the construction industry;
- Data entry experience

Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral/written);
- Highly organized with ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment;
- Good time management and decision-making skills
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight timelines

Physical Demands
- Work in adverse weather conditions (snow, cold, heat)
