Host/hostess

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced female hostess to join our team at XXI Chophouse. As a hostess, you will be our guests' first point of contact and will play a vital role in ensuring their experience with us is memorable. This is a part-time position to start.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet guests as they arrive at the restaurant and escort them to their table
- Manage the waiting list during peak hours, communicate with guests regarding wait times, and provide updates as needed
- Ensure that guests are comfortable and have everything they need while waiting for their table
- Answer phone calls and make reservations
- Assist with seating arrangements, special requests, and any other guest needs that may arise
- Maintain a clean and organized lobby area
- Communicate with servers and management regarding guest needs and any issues that may arise
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a hostess or customer service role in a restaurant environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
