**Job Description**:
The Simcoe Muskoka Regional Cancer Centre opened in June 2012. The radiation treatment program is equipped with one Varian Truebeam Linac and three Varian Clinac iX Linacs (scheduled for replacement in 2024 and 2025). The program also utilizes a Canon Exceed LB CT simulator, Bravos HDR brachytherapy, Eclipse treatment planning system and the ARIA oncology information system. The Medical Physics team is currently working closely with Diagnostic Imaging to install a PET-CT scanner and expanded MRI services at the RVH.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- MSc. or PhD. in medical physics.
- Successful completion of an accredited medical physics residency training program.
- CCPM, or equivalent certification, is an asset.
- Excellent written and oral communication.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the demonstrated ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams.

- Exercises substantial independent judgment and decision making.
- Works with mínimal supervision.
