Position: Hybrid Litigation LAA/Paralegal
- Full time (5 days a week - in person)

**Responsibilities**:

- Drafting/ revising/ proofreading of legal documents and correspondence;
- Preparing and coordinating for hearings, trials, and examinations for discovery;
- Prepare legal documents for trials, including trial record, trial certificate, witness list, subpoenas, and exhibits binders;
- Practice administration and maintaining the lawyers’ calendar;
- Administrative tasks including, entering time entry for monthly bills to clients, scanning, electronic and hard-copy filing etc.;
- Reception duty from time to time;
- Other business-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications/ who we are looking for:

- Completion of Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent experience;
- Ideally 1+ years’ experience in law firm with a focus on personal injury and general litigation;
- Knowledge of legal terminology, court rules, and procedures;
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines;
- Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills;
- Excellent oral and written communication;
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook);
- Experience with Amicus Attorney and Primafact an asset;
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and willingness to take on challenges;
- A team player who has the ability to take initiative, work independently and within a team environment.
