**Full Time Sales Consultant**

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Contributing to marketing & lead generation through both effective administration of internet sales enquiries as well as assisting customers in showroom and maintaining a professional retail environment.
- Selling boat and pontoon packages, outboard engines, boat and pontoon trailers, accessories, trolling motors, fish finders and other products using alternative media channels to connect with customers like social media, kijiji, marketplace, and boating forums
- Confidently educate and recommend appropriate major sales units and accessories to suit customer needs
- Be committed to ongoing professional development and product knowledge
- Responsible for photography of listings, uploading to internet platforms.
- Working with our marketing team to create sales content for social media like videos and blog posts
- Attending boat shows and sales events or conferences
- Support marketing initiatives with attendance at promotional and community events and other activities when necessary to generate leads for our sales process
- Accurately log all leads and maintain an accurate record of customer contacts in CRM, with complete information and updates when required
- Conduct effective product demonstrations and presentations for customers & prospects
- Support other department staff as necessary to maximize overall customer experience
- Help ensure all units are properly parked, clean and well organized in both the showroom and delivery areas and displayed with proper signage and pricing to reflect all programs and promotions
- Walk through showroom & yards daily to ensure all units are displayed professionally and that outdoor units are covered daily as necessary
- Organizing from initial lead/pricing to delivery, registration, and inspection of new boats.
- Completing any and all paperwork pertaining to the sales of products.
- Showing product in the showroom and at off-site displays or shows
- Having full knowledge of our product line, features, and accessories available for purchase.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Possess great customer follow up and prospecting skills.
- Solid experience with fishing, boating & outboards is necessary
- Creating and managing of personal marketing strategies via Social Media (Facebook, Instagram, Kijiji, etc.)
- Deals with challenging situations in a professional manner.
- Ensure a clean and professional-looking showroom, including effective display, organization, and cleaning of units.
- Able to drive and operate boats, trucks and trailers
- Comprehensive understanding and a proven ability to manage the complete sales process, from lead generation to post-sale follow-up.
- Expertise in closing deals and confidently asking for the sale.
- Proactive in creating sales opportunities outside of the store, networking, and engaging with the local community.
- Skilled at building relationships and assessing customer needs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Driven to achieve results
- Highly organized with strong time management skills
- Proven track record of maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information
- Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule
- Holds a valid driver’s license

**Benefits**:

**Compensation**:

- Weekend work required. This is a Full time position (Salary + Commission)

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$150,000.00 per year

**Experience**:
