Barista

**Jumping Bean Coffee **is looking to hire a Barista

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers as they enter and provide a friendly, positive experience.
- Prepare and serve espresso beverages.
- Work with a POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar and work space.
- Knowledge of all recipes, including the ability to make specialty drinks.
- Knowledge of espresso equipment, including how to clean and maintain a pre-owned machine.
- Knowledge of how to fill and clean coffee makers.
- Knowledge of how to fill and clean milk frothers.
- Preparation of fresh, made-to-order beverages such as lattes, cappuccinos, hot chocolates, etc.
- Cleaning of all equipment including making wipe-down machines, glasses, and other items as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in coffee service or barista not required
- Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be at least 18 years old.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $14.50 per hour
