Claims Processor

HealthMax Physio is seeking to hire a Claims Processor at our head office.

We are a growing healthcare organization with several clinics within the Greater Toronto Area. Our organization provides a wide spectrum of medical services and products within the healthcare industry.

Location: Scarborough (Victoria Park & McNicoll Avenue)

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 10am - 6pm

**Responsibilities**:

- Preparing claim forms and related documentation.
- Respond to inquiries and resolve pertaining to specific claim issues.
- Reviewing claims and verifying the information.
- Recording and maintain insurance policy and claims information in a database system.
- Determining policy coverage and calculating claim amounts.
- Communicating with patients, insurance agents, and lawyers.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.

- Previous experience in a medical office is an asset.
- Computer literate.

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
