Location: Kemptville Board Office

Hours of work: 35 hours/week

**Salary**: $61,973 - $76,158 per annum

- Qualifications- 3-year post-secondary degree or diploma in Information Technology and/or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years related experience.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, MS Forms, etc.), Microsoft SharePoint and

Microsoft SQL
- Advanced experience of querying and filtering data from multiple data sources and structures
- Knowledge of other industry standard business intelligence and analytics software
- Experience in mapping and then creating automated business workflows using low code or no code solutions
- Experience working with client/server network computer environments (hardware and software).
- Experience working in a cloud-based environment.
- Project management skills are a must.
- Experience with software development lifecycle processes like requirement gathering, end user testing and data and form validation

techniques.
- Ability to train all levels of computer users.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and experience in resolving conflict.
- Ability to use tact, discretion and maintain information in the strictest of confidence.
- Well-developed communication and collaboration skills
- Must possess a vehicle and a valid driver’s license.

A. Job Identification:
Title: ICT Data & Power Platform Analyst

Department: Information & Communication Technology (ICT)

Immediate Supervisor: Coordinator, ICT Cloud Infrastructure & Business Systems

B. Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Coordinator of ICT Cloud Infrastructure and Business Systems the Data and Power Platform Analyst

performs data gathering and business intelligence analysis functions for the Catholic District School Board. Sourcing data from

many different School, Ministry, and business information stores such as the ERP, Finance, SIS, standardized testing etc. the Data

needs of the district. The ICT Data and Power Platform Analyst will also assist in the optimization of Business processes by working
- C. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyzing the reporting needs of the district
- Dealing with the handling of highly sensitive and often confidential information about school board operations, finance, staff

and students on an ongoing and continuous basis in a way that protects our information from exposures
- Creating report structures and business analysis dashboards to meet our school boards ever-changing reporting needs
- Collaborating with various stakeholders throughout our business units to develop organizational level business awareness and

assist in data driven decision making

- Assisting with integrations between systems that require data manipulation for the Extract Transform Load processes
- Utilize the API structures available to us through our vendors
- Develop custom lists, libraries and tables in various data platforms
- Develop data lifecycle management techniques to manage data

- Provide training to staff on how to utilize various data dashboards and Business Intelligence tools
- Perform other duties as assigned which are unplanned and of a transient nature and are consistent with the above job
