Stony Mountain Child Care Center is looking to enhance our team with a creative, flexible and enthusiastic educator. Must have their Early Childhood Educator ECE II / III Manitoba classification, or someone looking to further their education to attain their ECE classification.

We support our educators in their journey in Early Learning by offering paid professional development, supporting the workplace program and offering planning time. We offer shared health benefits, matching retirement contributions, sick days and a paid half hour break within an 8 ¼ hour shift between the hours of operation 7:00- 5:15 Monday-Friday.

All programs have a Circle of Security facilitator to support and train our Educators in-house, to ensure that we are all working together to support the children in our care.

Stony Mountain Child Care Centre is located just minutes North of the Perimeter highway, off Highway 7, in a quiet bedroom community with lots of nature trails, and parks to enjoy.

We offer care to children 3 months to 12 years in four age specific programs and we are expanding again in the fall. We are looking for individuals to join our team now.
- Strong Knowledge and experience in curriculum and program development to support each child's experience and opportunities to learn and grow.
- Employ positive behavioural support strategies to manage behaviours
- Identify and manage risks to ensure the safety of all the children
- Nurturing, caring, innovative, self starter
- Highly motivated to implement new programs and develop creative approaches to enhance the child's learning
- Ability to work in a flexible environment and ability to adapt to an ever-changing workplace
- Ability to work in partnership with parents
- transportation as we are located 10 minutes north of the Perimeter
- Circle of Security training an asset, but can be trained once employed.
- Current First Aid and CPR Training
- Child Abuse Registry Check and Criminal Checks Current

**Salary**: $20.73-$23.00 per hour
