With 4 DVM's, and a team of over 20 experienced support staff, we pride ourselves in fostering a culture of positivity, support, and respect. This mutual support across various roles ensures a harmonious work environment which we value greatly.

Our facility was recently renovated in 2018, and features in-house blood and chemistry capabilities, along with digital radiology equipment, a therapeutic laser and a handheld ultrasound. We offer a diverse range of services, preventative care and general medicine, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and acupuncture.

In addition to offering a fun, compassionate, and collaborative working environment, we are pleased to offer a competitive compensation package with a salary of $100,000-$120,000 with great earning potential based on pay structure and commensurate on experience, industry leading benefits (Health/Dental), relocation assistance, signing/retention bonus, paid vacation, CE and more

Job Responsibilities

- Build rapport with clients by gathering information and listening to and empathizing with their concerns.

- Perform physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures that deliver the highest quality care while minimizing patient stress and discomfort.

- Communicates with clients on topics such as pet diagnosis, treatment plans, preventive health care, and nutritional needs.

- Maintains client/patient medical/surgical records and makes certain all necessary logs are kept up-to-date through established protocols.

- Stays current on new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine.

- Presents a positive image of the hospital to the professional community and to the public.

Skills and Basic Qualifications

- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university.

- Licensure in good standing to practice in British Columbia

- Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding veterinary code of ethics.
