We are seeking a skilled, enthusiastic individual who is ready to join our team as a Bilingual Promotions Producer. If you have a true passion for writing scripts and bringing them to life through video, collaborating in a team environment, and are enthusiastic about promoting Indigenous programming, **we would love to hear from you **_Flexible with working hours & location within Canada (potential for hybrid/fully remote dependent on location)._

**Highlights of this opportunity**:

- Conceptualizes promotional ideas: Develops creative concepts that drive audience engagement and supports programming, sales, and news objectives;
- Clearance of materials: Ensures that all materials used in promotional content are properly cleared and compliant with legal and network brand standards;
- Assists with branding: Supports in developing graphics, branding elements, and visual treatments that align with APTN’s style guide and objectives;
- Hires talent: Assists in selecting and hiring on-camera and voiceover talent that best supports promotional messaging;
- Creates compelling promos: Selects the most engaging video clips, chooses music and sound effects, and works with an editor to craft a concise, visually impactful story; highlights key elements of the show or movie that resonates with target audiences;
- Supports on-air strategy: Assists in executing on-air product placements and promotional strategies to maximize viewer retention and engagement;
- Assists the team: Provides support to other team members and carry’s out additional tasks as needed to ensure smooth production workflows.

**Your accomplishments and experience include**:

- ** Fluency in written and spoken French is required.**:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
- A diploma or certificate in a relevant field (e.g., communications, broadcasting, media production) and proven relevant experience;
- Previous broadcasting experience and knowledge of video production software is an asset;
- Experience with Indigenous organizations and knowledge of Indigenous cultural perspectives is an asset.
