Here is an excellent opportunity for the experienced and motivated Order Taker to be responsible for making first contact to handle inbound phone calls, distancing trips and providing flat rates, following up with customers and completing general administrative tasks for one of the busiest taxicab companies in the G.T.A in a call center environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Use the phone to handle inbound calls and take orders using state of the art Cloud based user interface and make outbound calls to follow up with customers
- Perform various administrative tasks as required during slow periods of inbound calls including dealing with corporate accounts and associated paperwork, preparing driver reports etc
- learn how to use the dispatch software to understand the process of taking orders and having them dispatched to ensure appropriate drivers are assigned to the correct orders in a timely fashion
- Answer general customer inquiries
- Document the incident reports and direct them to management as required
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook etc) as well as ability to learn the dispatch software
- Multi Tasking and quick problem solving
- Ability to work with team members and co workers politely and efficiently
- Punctuality and Good Attendence is required for this role
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and independently when required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)
