**Gaming Attendant, Bingo Coordinator and Count Team Attendant**

**Position Summary**

Under the direct supervision of the Gaming Manager, this position is responsible for a variety of duties including but not limited to, guest service, selling cards, cash handling, and completing detailed paperwork. Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian's learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.

**Key Accountabilities - Gaming Attendant**
- Act as a front-line customer service liaison, answering questions, assisting with orientation of games and facility, and working to create a positive gaming experience for all Chances guests
- Actively monitors and observes slot players and machines within assigned area and offers assistance, instruction and advice on the various types of games and machines
- Responsible for processing and assisting customers with validation of gaming vouchers and jackpot payouts
- Assist customers with exchanging of bills and coupons for slot play.
- Balance Cash Float at the beginning and end of shifts
- Provide prompt, courteous service to assure guests have an enjoyable gaming experience
- Acquire and maintain a strong knowledge of all Slot operations policies and procedures
- Participate in a professional, constructive, and supportive environment for all Casino staff with attention to open communication and team concept
- Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
- Performs other duties as assigned or directed

**Key Accountabilities - Bingo Coordinator/Caller**
- Welcome, inform and serve guests promptly, professionally and positively
- Verify, confirm and assume responsibility for inventory, assets and floats as issued
- Reconcile bingo paper inventory, assemble and issue floats, assign and issue cards and help to complete any other duties in preparation for a session
- Operate key equipment and computerized operating systems efficiently and effectively
- Calculate and enter game payouts in to operating systems with accuracy
- Call Bingo and make announcements during bingo
- Secure and control all areas of the bingo cage including but not limited to guest service stations, assets and inventory
- Process bingo jackpot payments and supporting documentation
- Assist with guest inquiries, sales, card verification and inventory reconciliation in a pleasant and professional manner in compliance with cash handling procedures, internal controls, company policies and procedures, report any violations and escalate to the appropriate level as necessary
- Check equipment, terminals, monitors, etc. prior to commencing a session to ensure adequate functionality
- Be familiar with the schedule and staffing in place with an awareness of session format, related details, promotions and specials offerings
- Maintain an adequate cage supply of necessary inventory and products
- Complete deposits, data entry, session paperwork and necessary reports
- Communicate effectively and professionally with each guest providing prompt, great service to ensure an enjoyable gaming experience
- Maintain good rapport with colleagues ensuring a professional, productive and supportive work environment
- Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
- Performs other duties as assigned or directed

**Key Accountabilities - Count Team**
- Count currency in the count room
- Perform cash and cash equivalent counts for all slot machines
- Reports unsecured and suspect counterfeit cash/cash equivalents
- Verifies and reconciles drop boxes and cash cassettes before and after counts

**Education and Qualifications**
- High School Diploma; post-secondary education an asset
- Minimum 2 years cash handling experience in a guest service position
- Serving it Right certification
- Working knowledge of computers, ability to operate adding machines, currency counters and other similar equipment
- Ability to exceed internal and external guest expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication
- Professional attitude and appearance, strong interpersonal skills and a team player
- Must possess excellent verbal, written and organizational skills
- Reliable and dependable with demonstrated commitment to service excellence
- Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License
