Meter Reader

Neptune Technology Group is currently seeking energetic, dedicated, self-motivated and reliable individuals with excellent communication and interpersonal skills for an entry-level position in the utilities field. Our company is recruiting meter readers to assist **The Region of Durham** in calculating their customers’ consumption levels of water for residential / commercial accounts. Meter Readers will obtain and record readings into a handheld device that uploads the information to a software data base.

This is a **full-time position** that is predominantly working outside in all weather conditions using your own vehicle.

**Skills**:

- Physical endurance
- Adaptability
- Fluent in English both verbally and written.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Valid Driver’s License
- Strong Customer Service skills
- Ability to work independently.
- Good physical condition. Able to walk long distances.
- Criminal record check is required (should you be selected)

**Compensation**:

- Payment is per read collected
- Flexible work hours

**Job Type**: Part-time
