The Apprentice Technician will assist Capital Auto Group to perform maintenance and repair vehicles for our valued customers and work with our Sales team to maintain and repair our inventory.

If you are hard-working, passionate, and determined, then Capital Automotive Group is for you The Apprentice Technician is responsible for maintaining/repairing customer’s vehicles, as well as maintaining/repairing Capital’s new and used inventory in a safe and efficient manner.

Job Responsibilities
- Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy to drive Customer loyalty
- Communicating with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication
- Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and perform repair, if authorized by the Customer
- Conducting multi-point inspections to make appropriate recommendations to ensure safety and reliability of Customer vehicles
- Documenting work performed on each vehicle on the repair order
- Maintaining an inventory of normal Technician’s tools not normally inventoried by the Service department as “special tools”
- Providing an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty

**Requirements**:

- The Qualifications-may vary depending on Apprentice Level: Must hold a minimum Level 1-4 Automotive Service Technician from either a technical vocational school or college
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Motivated with a customer-focused attitude
- Current Drivers license required
