**DUTIES, EXPECTATIONS, RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Perform safe and precise ear piercings: Provide professional ear-piercing services using the appropriate tools and techniques while adhering to strict hygiene and safety protocols.
- Consult with clients: Discuss the client's needs and preferences, offering guidance on jewelry selection, placement, and style to ensure a satisfying result.
- Educate clients on aftercare: Clearly explain the proper aftercare instructions for newly pierced ears, including cleaning methods and signs of infection to watch for.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace: Ensure that the piercing area is always clean, sanitized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Sterilize equipment: Properly sterilize and store all piercing tools and equipment according to industry standards and local health regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service: Greet clients warmly, answer their questions, address any concerns, and ensure they have a positive experience throughout the piercing process.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends: Continuously learn about new piercing techniques, jewelry styles, and safety practices to maintain a high level of expertise and professionalism.
- Handle sales transactions: Assist clients with purchasing jewelry and related products, processing payments, and providing receipts as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members: Work closely with other in-store staff to create a welcoming atmosphere for clients, share knowledge and best practices, and contribute to the overall success of the store.
- Manage appointment scheduling: Book piercing appointments, manage cancellations, and ensure punctuality to maintain a smooth flow of clients throughout the day.
- Follow company policies and procedures: Adhere to all company guidelines and expectations, including dress code, punctuality, and code of conduct.
- Participate in ongoing training and development: Attend workshops, seminars, or other learning opportunities to enhance skills, stay current with industry trends, and maintain any required certifications or licenses.

**QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS**
- Strong interpersonal skills: Excellent communication and customer service abilities to make clients feel comfortable and well-informed during the piercing process.
- Attention to detail: Precise and accurate work when performing ear piercings, ensuring correct placement and minimizing the risk of complications.
- Hand-eye coordination: Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to perform accurate and safe piercings.
- Flexibility: Ability to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, to accommodate the store's operating hours and client needs.
- Sales skills: Experience in retail or sales environments is a plus, as ear piercers may need to assist with product sales and customer transactions.
- Team player: Willingness to collaborate with other store staff members and contribute positively to the overall success of the business.
- Professional appearance: Maintaining a clean and professional appearance that adheres to the store's dress code and represents the company well.
- Continuous learning: Commitment to staying up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and best practices related to ear piercing, participating in ongoing training and development opportunities as needed.

**COMPENSATION**:
Approx. total yearly compensation with commissions and bonuses runs between $ 48,467 to $59,649+.
- **Base Salary**: $35,360 or $17 an hour
