Captain - Tour Boat

Job Overview:
The position is that of Captain of the company's 24-foot pontoon passenger tour boat, which is used to ferry our tour guests from Portsmouth Harbour in Kingston, out to our tour site at Garden Island.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for all aspects of the safe operation of the tour boat, the safety of our passengers, crew, and the vessel itself, in accordance with Transport Canada regulatory requirements and applicable company policies.
- Assessment of marine conditions along the route of vessel operation, and scheduling and and coordination of tours in concert with the General Manager.
- Assist the tour guide and other staff the monitoring of tour guests and rendering assistance in an emergency as required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 5 months

Pay: $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week

**Experience**:

- Captain-Passenger Vessel: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Small Vessel Operator Proficiency Certificate/MED A1 (required)
