**Parks, Recreation and Facilities Attendant - PERMANENT FULL-TIME Opportunity**

**PARKS, RECREATION & FACILITIES DEPARTMENT**

The Township of Cramahe is located in the heart of Northumberland County, just over an hour’s drive east of Toronto on the north shore of Lake Ontario.

Reporting to the Manager of Parks, Recreation & Facilities the position’s responsibilities include:

- Arena operations and maintenance, including use of ice resurfacer, power/hand tools.
- Maintaining flower beds, trees, shrubs, and trails.
- Completing maintenance and minor repair of equipment and facilities.
- Ensuring parks, open spaces, and outdoor amenities are safe, clean, and accessible.
- Turf maintenance, trimming and cutting grass etc.
- Maintaining sports fields, ball diamonds, soccer fields, parks etc.
- Other duties as assigned.

Success in the position requires the ability to understand and interpret Health and Safety policies, written and oral instructions, and machinery operating materials. Ability to complete assigned tasks with only occasional supervision, and work in all weather conditions.
